ABOUT THE PROJECT
My name is Ariela Warticovschi and I am a high school student in South Florida. In the summer of 2019, I took a trip to Panama with a group of photographers. We stayed at a resort called Casa Cayuco for a few days. One of the days we went to a school on a remote island to take pictures of their students and volunteered to paint their second high school classroom. This school is part of a community called Salt Creek. I was told that the students had no idea what they looked like because they couldn't afford mirrors. All the kids were fascinated and so curious by our cameras. Because the kids on the island stayed in my heart, I knew I had to do more than just paint a classroom. This is when I thought of the idea to start Funding Through Photography. This organization is meant to further help Salt Creek and later other communities and organizations in need.
ABOUT FUNDING THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY
Funding Through Photography is an organization I created to be able to help every community we can. My goal is to keep adding different photography projects to the organization. If you have a community/place you would like to help by selling your art and giving them the proceeds, please contact me and I would be happy to add your project to the site.
FUNDING MONEY
100% of the proceeds of each project will go directly to them to help their community. For each photograph you purchase, $30 will be given to the community. Depending on the type of media and the size you chose, there will be an additional amount to pay for the cost of the print itself; shipping and tax is included in the price. If you would like to donate an additional amount it is always welcome. There is an option on the "ORDER" page to donate.
ORDERING THE PHOTOGRAPHS
The page called "ORDER" has all the options you could choose from. Make sure you know the name of the photograph/s you want, so that you could select it when ordering. Once you decide on a photograph or photographs, start by choosing print, canvas, or acrylic media type for your photograph/s. Then you can choose the size and the photograph/s you would like.
